The Rica Levy International group was born in 1928, when Madame Rica Lévy founded the company in Marseille.

But it was in 1947 that her daughter Olga became aware of the "blue denim" phenomenon in the US. She imported this new textile icon to France. Thus Rica Lévy International became a denim pioneer in Europe under the brand name Rica Lewis R.

In 1987, Rica Levy International was acquired by an Italian family business. From that moment on, the brand acquired the international footprint that still distinguishes it today.

Rica Levy International currently manages 3 brands, mainly in France and Italy, but also in other European countries: Rica Lewis, Ober and Rica Lewis Workwear.

The group is strongly committed to a CSR approach based on 3 pillars: Social and Human Respect, Sustainable Action to Protect the Planet, Equity (Working Today for Tomorrow with an Ethical Development Strategy).
